What we been working on the last couple weeks:

Fencing: The wind, snow and rain got the best of this old fence over the last decade. Dug out the old, rotten posts set in concrete and replaced them with rock-solid new pressure treated 4x4 posts 3 ft in ground, then adjusted and aligned the swing gate so it opens and closes smoothly. Strung it all straight. Later on the home owner wants me to come back and put brand new pannels on it later on and cut all post of flush. But it looks great and way better then and u can use the gate like it’s suppose .

Wall Repair: Chipped away loose, falling plaster in a historic older home due to an upstairs shower that I sealed up and fixed as well and rebuilt a smooth, surface.

Wall Painting: Fully prepped, primed, and painted and blended the ceiling in perfectly with the rest of the room without having to repaint the whole kitchen. Plus I also transformed a tired-looking office space with a fresh, professional coat of Gumball Red.

Masonry: Removed an old, ugly, leaky outdated egress window, then permanently filled and sealed the opening using durable cinder blocks and fresh mortar. No more having to deal with leaks and the the homeowner is gonna be walling it off over it on the inside as well and they wanted to do the dirt fill in on the outside and painting of the foundation, themselves.

Got some serious shop work done this week getting the trailer road-ready! 🛠️🚚Here is
what went down:

⚙️ Bearing Maintenance: Pulled the hubs, cleaned them out, and gave the trailer bearings a fresh pack of marine-grade grease along with new bearing buddy caps. And also cleaned off the grease that was splattered on rims from water getting in the bearings. Went and put new rubber bearing cover caps as-well and went the extra mile to electrical tape the caps on so they won’t fall off and let debris and water get in anymore. Don’t forget these critical steps to avoid spindle burnouts!

🔧 Hitch Fabrication: Cut, fitted, welded and bolted up a custom-welded hitch on 2008 Saturn Vue. After the initial hitch installment failed, which tore lose from the original sub frame, where it was mounted due to rust. So gave it a way more durable touch to it this time. Fits nice and tight and very solid from here on out!

🔌 Wiring Kit: Ran the tail light and trailer wiring. It was plug-and-play—used a T-splice behind the tail lights and finished the connections with a little dielectric grease.

Before you head out on your next haul, make sure you:Check your hubs for heat after short drivesTest all your running, brake, and turn signals 🚦Always better safe than sorry on the road! Safe hauls everyone!

This 5x10 utility trailer restoration demonstrates attention to detail and hands-on craftsmanship. By replacing the hitch tongue, rewelding the broken leaf spring shackle, fenders, and a new crank jack, while reinforcing the ramp mesh and rewiring the LED lights, this workhorse is upgraded for safety, reliability, and years of continued service.

~Structural Integrity: Fabricated and installed a brand-new hitch tongue and repaired the leaf spring shackle to ensure solid, worry-free towing dynamics.

~Decking & Ramp: Re-welded the ramp mesh for maximum durability and heavy-duty loading.

~Body & Protection: Mounted sleek, heavy-duty new fenders to prevent road debris kick-up.

~Functionality: Mounted on a brand-new heavy-duty jack for easy use, and secure uncoupling.

~ Electrical: Rewired the entire system with brand-new, highly visible LED trailer lights wrapped in brand new wiring loom for optimal road safety and durability.

This trailer is officially back in service and ready to handle the toughest jobs. There is always something incredibly rewarding about taking a heavily abused unit and giving it a second life!

Been hard at it, working on my new work truck for the business for the last couple months. Still have some work left to do on it but it’s starting to shape into something really nice each and everyday. It is a one owner 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 LT. I bought it from an older gentleman. Was mainly used for a wood hauler and a plow truck. Despite the rust issues on most of the rear frame. It has part near mint interior. Someone also had replaced the rockers, and cab corners on it not to long ago, but just needed to be cleaned up, touched up and repainted. Runs like a million bucks and everything works on it like it should. So the good out weighed the bad on it so decided it was worth the amount of work to put into it, fix it and make it a solid truck again, then it was parting out and scraping. Also got into a fender bender with it when I got it so had to put a new rust free oem door and fender on it along with some serious work on pulling out the rocker pannel which turned out great! The new door that I put on it had a pretty nasty little gouge in it that I fixed and had to repaint the whole door. Also replaced the bed with another one that was much better shape but needed some tlc and and some elbo grease. Also got creative and decided to build my own patch panels for the rear wheel wells from an old car hood. Little progress update on it so far. Still still some work to do on it, to get it where I want it. Along with some bussiness stickers to put on it. I also am planning on building my own custom ladder rack for it will update more progress as I go and pics once it’s all finished up.

Gave this 12’x 6’ utility trailer a new make over! Custom made and designed heavy duty fenders. Installed new LED lights and wiring all the way around. Had some twisted and bent up mesh on the ramp fold down that I straightened back out and put more welds on it then the factory to give a more stronger support. New ramp pins and pin secure chains so don’t misplace or lose the pins. Added a spare tire mount bracket in the front as well. Cleaned up the rusty rims and painted them to look new again, along with new tires on them. Packed and greased, all new bearings, leaf springs and shackles. I pressured washed the boards from being weathered as well as a nice fresh black undercoating on the frame to touch everything off. This thing sure turned out pretty sharp and looks brand new again!
