First Galena is a family owned business that started in 1980 as a real estate, architecture and home building company. We then expanded in 1990 to include modular and panelized construction. The architect and designer of First Galena have created a few specialty divisions which include custom sun rooms and golf studios. The vacation rental home division was created in 2010 to give our clients and guests the opportunity to stay in one of our homes.

This is the new Tamarack chalet style model at the Stratford Homes factory in Stratford, Wisconsin. Deb and I attended the awards banquet yesterday and stopped to see their new model. I think this plan will be a big hit at Apple Canyon Lake. We were the top builder in Illinois and 4th in the factory!

This is one of the largest panelized homes that we have sold. This will be a rental home located on N. Snipe Hollow Rd. The walls, floors and roof sections were all built in a factory and then set in place on site with a crane. With this method of construction we are not limited in size due to road restrictions. We set four new homes in March. We are now taking the final orders for 2024. We do have a couple of Fall spots still available.

This 5 bedroom home was completely shelled in just 8 working days. We offer this option for customers that want to complete the home themselves. The home is built in panelized sections in a factory and then assembled on site using a small crew and a small crane. We were fortunate to not have any rain or wind delays.
