Pleased to announce that our work on the Harriet Tubman Cultural Center in Howard County has been awarded the 2024 "Project of The Year" for Historical Preservation and Restoration by Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the American Public Works Association for the $5M-$25M category.

I'm excited to share that the Harriet Tubman Cultural Center (HTCC) has been honored with the 2024 Project of the Year Award for Historical Restoration/Preservation by the American Public Works Association (APWA) Mid-Atlantic Chapter. This award celebrates our commitment to preserving Howard County's rich history and the influential legacy of the African American community. The HTCC, once the historic Harriet Tubman School, now stands as a vibrant cultural and educational center of our diverse heritage.

Our team has worked tirelessly to transform this historic site, blending its historical significance with modern functionalities. I extend my deepest gratitude to the Department of Public Works, the Department of Recreation & Parks, and everyone who played a part in this remarkable project.

If you want to make an omelette, you got to break an egg. Our team has been hard at work crafting the new retail vision for Clarion Partners at Chevy Chase Pavillion with working around a 24/7 live environment - restaurants, office space and a +250 room hotel! We are removing & replacing elevators, staircases, dated exterior facades and obsolete tenant spaces. Look for a new Trader Joe's in mid 2025.

Started this week on our latest project - an 11,000 sf retail building for a special client at Westside in Laurel. Part of a mixed use project with a Wawa and a sold out Ryan Homes community. This building will include a new Chipotle and other great tenants off Van Dusen Road. #BuildingWinners
