The best way to recognize Ladder Safety Month? ... Don't use one! 🙅🪜🙅

HOWEVER, if you MUST use a ladder, remember these important safety measures:
✔️ make sure all legs are on a stable surface
✔️ check the ladder's weight limit & do NOT exceed it
✔️ set the base of the ladder 1ft away from the wall for every 4ft of the ladder's height
✔️ make sure all locks are properly engaged
✔️ keep the ladder at least 10ft away from any overhead electrical lines
✔️ do NOT stand on the top 3 rungs
✔️ always face the ladder & maintain 3 points of contact
✔️ do NOT overreach & extend your torso past either side rail: get off the ladder & lift with your legs to reposition it
