Family Healthcare of Hagerstown entered a service agreement with Boland to maintain controls and equipment in 2017. With an initial ENERGY STAR score of 51, they began applying insights from their Building Performance Reports to optimize energy efficiency. Throughout Boland’s seven-year partnership with this facility, Family Healthcare Hagerstown drastically decreased their energy consumption and bumped their Energy Star score to 83. Jimmy Murray and Mechelle Munn recently presented them with their Energy Star Certification, a testament to their energy efficiency and sustainable development leadership.

Happy National Intern Day! At Boland, we are lucky to have a group of dedicated summer interns who bring their fresh perspectives to our team. We are excited to see what they accomplish.

Seven of our client’s chillers were corroded, impacting the performance of their systems. Boland’s Water Technologies team repaired the corrosion-damaged chillers by inserting tapered corks to block the tubes and applying a Belzona chiller coating. The Belzona solution restored the original tube sheet profile and increased the chillers’ efficiency.
