Last year, Mallick Mechanical Contractors announced its doors were shutting, and with it, a culture of excellence and integrity would be lost. A small group of individuals decided they wouldn’t let that culture die and put their heads together to figure out how to recreate the same level of top-notch service and quality but on a smaller scale. Mallick Mechanical Services was born out of that vision.

With this new venture, the Mallick Team will be focused on providing direct-to-owner mechanical small projects and HVAC service/maintenance. With 30 years of history in the new construction industry, Mallick has built advanced systems, a team of highly skilled HVAC technicians, and an expansive network of trusted subcontractors and vendors -- such that we are perfectly suited to support commercial clients all over the DC Metro Area.

Our Fabrication Shop is one of the many components that make us the Mechanical Trade Partner of Choice! Here's an inside look into the shop and the procedures that assist in preserving valuable project time and limit the necessary on-site manpower. Let us know what you think👇

Idea Factory's air and steam flushing procedure has been completed! (As seen in the video) There was a ton of effort put in by our Mallick team to: - Successfully complete 5 separate air and 5 separate steam flushes - Bypass all 10 pieces of equipment, steam traps, meters and PRV's by installing approximately 300-400 feet of temporary piping - Execute a sophisticated procedure on a complex science lab at the University of Maryland After 2 months of necessary preparation, we're proud to have completed this critical project milestone, which means the design we partially assisted with and the work completed by our team is correct! NICE JOB, MALLICK TEAM!

To close out Women In Construction (WIC) Week, we would like to highlight Lidia B, Nikki D and Jennifer B – also known as our accounting team! Though they are not in the field, Lidia B, Nikki D and Jennifer B have established relationships with our subcontractors, general contractors and employees that allows our accounting department to run with great efficiency. While the financial side of the business keep these three detail-oriented ladies extremely busy, Lidia B, Nikki D and Jennifer B are never too busy to remain engaged with customers and employees on a daily basis. Thank you, Lidia B, Nikki D and Jennifer B, for your dedication and outstanding work for Mallick Mechanical and Mallick Plumbing & Heating!

Our Women In Construction (WIC) Week continues with our HR team, consisting of Yvette B, Stephanie M, and Steph W. You don’t have to be in the field to make a difference in construction. These three are essential for Mallick Mechanical and Mallick Plumbing & Heating, performing difference making work for both companies and their employees. Yvette B, Stephanie M and Steph W bring an uplifting presence into the office every day and are always present for any employee that needs their assistance. A lot of their work is behind the scenes but is fundamental to the success of both companies.
