The trades are an incredible industry filled with hardworking, passionate, and generous business owners who genuinely want to help others succeed.
When Maria and I made the decision to transition Electrical Connections from working primarily with contractors to serving families directly, it was not an easy journey. We faced challenges, made mistakes, and spent several years learning what it truly takes to build a service-focused company.
During those years, we reached out to fellow business owners across the country. We visited their shops, asked questions, learned from their experiences, and were blessed by people who were willing to openly share their knowledge and wisdom with us.
Today, we are grateful to be in a position where we can do the same for others.
A special thank you to Tim from Wired Electric in South Carolina for spending time with our team this week. It was a pleasure sharing ideas, discussing best practices, and showing how our departments work together to communicate efficiently, how our warehouse systems support our technicians, and how our daily huddles help our leadership team stay aligned and focused.
One of the things I love most about the trades is that there is room for all of us to win. When we share knowledge, encourage one another, and help each other grow, our entire industry becomes stronger.
