🌳 Not all wood tells the same story…

During our visit to the Crystal Cabinets Training Center, we explored the beautiful differences between each wood species—from the smooth, subtle grain of Maple to the rich depth of Walnut and the natural character of Rustic Hickory.

The wood species you choose can completely transform the look and feel of your cabinetry. Some offer clean, consistent grain patterns, while others bring knots, texture and plenty of personality.

Swipe through to take a closer look at each one. 👉

Which wood species would you choose for your home?

Visit Shawn Williams Designs, and let us help you find the perfect combination of wood, finish and style for your space.

✨ Who says everything has to match?

Great design isn’t about making every cabinet look exactly the same—it’s about choosing finishes that work beautifully together.

Mixing cabinetry finishes can help define different areas of a space while still keeping the overall design cohesive. Sometimes the unexpected combination is exactly what makes a home stand out.🧡🖤

And this one just got started… 👀 We can’t wait to show you how it's coming together as we work side by side with Knight Construction Group & Belisa Molina, ASID Allied

At Shawn Williams Designs, we’re here to help you create a space that feels collected, intentional, and uniquely yours.

✨ It’s all in the details… ✨

While exploring the Crystal Cabinetry Training Center, I found myself stopping over and over again to take pictures of all the unique little details tucked into their displays.

Hidden storage, unexpected pull-outs, beautiful interior finishes, creative open shelving, integrated lighting, appliance storage, gorgeous architectural details…and yes, even a hidden feeding station for our four-legged family members. 🐾❤️
I think Juni would definitely approve of adding a hidden feeding station in the showroom.🐶

These are the things I LOVE seeing because great design isn’t always about what you notice first. Sometimes it’s the clever little feature you discover after opening a door or pulling out a drawer that makes you say, “Okay… THAT is cool.” 😍

One thing we love about Crystal Cabinets is that they are fully customizable, you thimk it or dream it....we can bring it to reality for you at Shawn Williams Designs—and I may already have a few favorites hidden finds. 😉

Which one would you want in your kitchen?

Day 1 at Crystal Cabinetry Training! ✨

Today was all about learning, exploring, and getting inspired at the Crystal Cabinet Works Inc. Training Center — and there was definitely no shortage of inspiration!😍

From beautiful natural wood finishes and timeless painted cabinetry to modern textures, mixed finishes, custom details and some seriously creative storage solutions… seeing everything up close gives you a whole new appreciation for what’s possible with custom cabinetry.

And one of our favorite takeaways from today?

Cabinetry is about so much more than just the kitchen. Bathrooms, home offices, entertainment spaces, specialty storage and those little custom details can completely transform the way a space looks and functions.

I may have taken just a few pictures… 😉📸 And this is only Day 1!

We are Excited to offer Crystal Cabinetry to our clients and to bring all of this inspiration and knowledge back to Shawn Williams Designs. Stay tuned — there’s plenty more to come!
