Join Our Team!

We're seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team! This position offers flexible scheduling, with full-time, part-time, hybrid, or remote opportunities available for the right candidate.

The Estimator will prepare accurate and competitive bids for structural and miscellaneous steel projects by analyzing plans, specifications, material and labor costs, and coordinating with project managers, vendors, and clients to develop complete and profitable estimates.

✨Key Responsibilities✨
▪️ Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and bid documents
▪️ Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for structural steel, miscellaneous metals, and related components
▪️Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, fabrication, and er****on
▪️Solicit, review, and analyze vendor and subcontractor quotes
▪️Develop and submit timely bid proposals and supporting documentation
▪️Identify project risks, scope gaps, and value-engineering opportunities
▪️Collaborate with project management and fabrication teams to ensure smooth project handoff
▪️Maintain organized records of estimates, pricing history, and bid outcomes
▪️Participate in bid review meetings and post-bid negotiations as needed

✨Qualifications✨
▪️High school diploma or GED required; degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred
▪️Minimum of 3–5 years of estimating experience in steel construction or related trades
️▪️Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication and er****on processes
▪️Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
▪️Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
▪️Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
▪️Excellent attention to detail and time-management abilities
▪️Effective written and verbal communication skills

✨Preferred Skills and Experience✨
▪️Experience with estimating software (e.g., Tekla, Bluebeam, Trimble, or similar
platforms)
▪️ Familiarity with AISC standards and steel construction codes
▪️Understanding of project scheduling and construction sequencing
▪️Experience working on commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects
