We recently brought a new guy onto the Combs Pest Control crew, and come to find out… he’s a straight-up wildlife master. 🦝🦇

That’s a skill set we’ve never had in the history of this company, so naturally we said, “Alright then… let’s put that to work.” Today kicked off our first-ever wildlife job, and let me tell you — this is a whole different ballgame.

We’re not quite finished yet (we’ll wrap it up next week), but here’s the thing: I don’t send my crew out to do work I won’t do myself. So I jumped in and worked right alongside him the last two days.

Somewhere around 372 trips up and down a ladder (and that may not be an exaggeration)… it really sank in — wildlife work will humble you. Tight spaces, ladders, sweat, and critters that do NOT care about your feelings. And just for the record… I’m not a young buck anymore. 😅

I walked away with a whole new level of respect for folks who do wildlife control for a living. Y’all earn every penny.

Proud of this new addition to the team and proud of the direction we’re growing in. Same work ethic, same standards — just expanding the toolbox.

Help us give a warm (and slightly chaotic, very on-brand) welcome to Devin Davis, the newest member of the Combs Pest Control family!

Devin comes to us with 5 years of experience, a work ethic that could out-run a German roach at 2am, and a genuine hunger to deliver the kind of top-tier service our customers deserve. Honestly… the man showed up ready to work like we owed HIM money. That’s when we knew he was one of us. 😄

On a heartfelt note: finding someone who truly cares about people, takes pride in the job, and wants to make homes healthier and safer — that’s rare. Devin fits right in with our mission, our heart, and our sense of humor (poor guy).

Combs Pest Control is looking for a motivated, dependable Pest Control Technician to join our growing team!
Job Duties Include:
Performing general pest control for residential and commercial accounts
Mosquito control treatments
Termite inspections and treatments
Communicating with customers and documenting services
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR
Must be able to pass a background check
Must be able to pass the Georgia state pest control registration test prior to full employment
Excellent people skills – you’ll be working closely with our amazing customers every day
Strong attention to detail and a positive, professional attitude
We Provide:
Paid training and hands-on field experience
Uniforms and equipment
Support from an experienced, veteran-owned team
Experience preferred but not required — we will train the right person!

Some people do yoga for flexibility… we do pest control. 🐜🔥

This morning? Termite trenching and treating like it’s nobody’s business.
This afternoon? Bed bugs got evicted faster than a bad roommate.

From crawl spaces to mattress seams, kitchens to concrete slabs—we handle it all. Nothing gets in our way (except maybe a low porch and a hangry raccoon, but we work around that too).

Whether it crawls, flies, bites, or chews—we’re your people.

😂 And still somehow funny at the end of the day.

We never stop! Usually, we spend Monday’s out killing bugs, but had a tire issue this morning on the bugmobile. So we spend our time learning more about flies, so we can better take care of our clients!
