Every day, approximately 3 women in the United States are killed by an intimate partner.
Let's make a difference with our $50,000 matching grant and make sure another woman doesn't become a statistic.
Long before a homicide makes the news, there may have been months—or years—of warning signs hidden behind closed doors. Coercive control. Isolation. Financial abuse.Threats and intimidation.Spiritual manipulation. Fear.
A woman may be asking herself, “Is this really abuse?” A mother trying to protect her children while carefully managing her partner’s reactions.
A pastor or church leader who wants to help—but doesn’t know how to respond. A survivor wondering whether anyone will believe her if she finally tells the truth about what is happening inside her home.
That is where Called to Peace Ministries comes in.
Last year, we served nearly 2,000 women impacted by domestic abuse—women whose circumstances also affected the lives of more than 2,700 children.
Through Called to Peace Ministries, survivors receive ongoing advocacy and support, biblical encouragement, practical resources, and community as they navigate abuse and begin rebuilding their lives. And we don’t stop there. We equip churches and ministry leaders to better recognize abuse and respond in ways that support the oppressed, prioritize safety, and help survivors know they are not alone.
💜 It costs approximately $800 to serve one woman through Called to Peace Ministries for an entire year. But right now, thanks to our matching grant, your gift can make twice the impact.
This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, help us reach the woman behind the statistic with ongoing advocacy, safety planning, Restore Groups, biblical encouragement, practical assistance, healing retreats, and resources for churches as she navigates abuse and begins rebuilding her life.
Your generosity can help make sure someone is there to answer.
💜 Thanks to a $50,000 Matching Grant, every gift of $100 or more will be DOUBLED.
Because abuse impacts more than one life. Abuse impacts generations. But healing can too. Will you financially partner with Called to Peace Ministries this October and help make sure another woman doesn’t have to navigate abuse alone?
