We had a Work session and removed 4 marbel tablets from a life of concrete. Kenny Hackman did an excellent job cutting the concrete with a Stone Mason's saw. Woody Woodhurst used the skid steer to demolish the concrete.

What started as caring for a fractured family headstone in 2019 has turned into a passion for Kurt, a calling he never expected. Since then, Kurt has restored hundreds of headstones, uncovering forgotten stories and giving families a little piece of their history back free of charge.

On December 17, 2022, a cold, windy afternoon, I met David Jindrich from Restoration Services, for the first time. After touring the cemetery, which look much like the picture, David made an offer on restoring the cemetery. Shortly after that, the board made the decision to hire Mr. Jindrich to restore the cemetery in hopes of raising the money to complete the project. A fund raising campaign was started and the descendants of those buried in the Clary Cemetery responded. To date, the restoration work has been done using funds donated for the restoration of the cemetery. Mr. Jindrich plans to return in the spring to complete the work in the cemetery. You are encouraged to visit the cemetery to see the progress and tremendous difference with the restoration. While there is not a lot of work left, the amount of donated funds is also getting low. Please consider sending a donation to Clary Cemetery, c/o St. James UCC, 690 Hwy 100, Morrison, MO 65061 today. The goal is to complete the restoration work with 100% donated funds. All funds received will be used for the restoration project and future maintenance of the cemetery.
