we’re back for another MEET THE TEAM TUESDAY!!🕺

Let’s get to know the heart behind Dig Doug, everyone meet Papa Pani!!

“Hey everyone, I’m Papa!

I’m the oldest of six kids, born and raised in Collinsville, Illinois, where I grew up on a dairy farm milking cows. Those early mornings taught me the value of hard work and a good pair of boots!

I headed off to the University of Missouri and came home with a degree in Animal Husbandry—basically a fancy way of saying I went to college to learn how to take care of animals even better than I already did. After that, I spent 30 years at the Harbison Walker brick plant in Fulton, helping build things that last.
These days you’ll still find me happiest when I’m outside, whether I’m tinkering on a project, working in the yard, or out in the shop doing what I love most—woodworking. There’s nothing better than turning a piece of wood into something useful with my own two hands.

Above all, I’m a family man through and through. Nothing beats spending time with my kids, grandkids, and the whole crew. That’s what makes it all worthwhile.

Happy to be here—let’s get to work!”

Let’s get to know Isaiah!

“Hey Guys! My name is Isaiah and I am in charge of the finances while also helping with on-site projects for Dig Doug.

To fill you in on me, my full time position is as a Senior Financial Analyst for American Outdoor Brands in Columbia, MO and yes, I am the guy that makes Excel spreadsheets for fun. My typical job is in an office but I love getting outside and helping out with Dig Doug!

Outside of work, I am blessed to help lead a college ministry at my church in Fulton. On top of that I love fitness and plan on running a marathon in a year!

My wife Sydney and I currently live in Fulton and look forward to one day starting a family.”

MEET THE TEAM TUESDAY!!!🔨🧰

Today we’ll be getting to know Sydney!

“Hey everyone! I’m Sydney, and I help run the social media and on-site projects for Dig Doug! Doug is not only my father-in-law but also one of my very best friends!!

I work as a Licensing and Placement Specialist for KVC Missouri, where I travel across the state helping license new foster homes. 💛 I also co-lead the college ministry at my church, and it’s one of my favorite things I get to do!

When I’m not working, I love reading books and tackling DIY projects around the house. Thankfully, I have a father-in-law who’s a true jack of all trades and always willing to help! I also cherish spending quality time with my amazing friends.

My husband and I recently bought our first home in Fulton, and we’re so excited about this next chapter and one day growing our family!”

MEET THE TEAM TUESDAY!!!🥁🥁

Today we’ll be getting to know Kate!

“Hey hey! My name is Kate and I’m the marketing manager for Dig Doug.

My full-time job is through The Crossing in Columbia, MO. (This is also my church home). I’ve been there for almost 3 years, and I love what I do! I also have a photography business, which is more of a passion project of mine.

I’ve always enjoyed being creative. This is totally something I inherited from my mom. Whether it’s off-the-wall crafts or watercolor paints, I’m all about it. I think that’s one of the reasons I’m so passionate about marketing and digital design—it lets me create all day long!

In my spare time, I enjoy going on long walks outside and reading science fiction books. I also lead a high school small group—they’re the best.

I currently live in New Bloomfield, Missouri, and look forward to one day having my own chickens and bees!”

MEET THE TEAM TUESDAY!!!!🔨🦺

Here at Dig Doug, we’re a fully family-owned and operated business — and we love it that way! We wanted to take a moment to introduce the whole team so you can get to know the friendly faces behind the business! First up, let’s get to know Gretchen!

“Hey everyone, it’s Gretchen!
A little bit about me, I have been into horses for over 40 years, I have a degree in EQS and fine art and I love to be outside. My husband, Doug, and I have been married since 1994 and we have two grown children that are incredible themselves and also married to incredible people. Doug is the love of my life ❤️
I enjoy rescuing animals, (especially English Bulldogs) and rehabbing thoroughbreds that have come from the race track. I have been a full time horse trainer for over 30 years.
I believe wholeheartedly that Jesus is my savior and that He always has a plan, even when we can’t see it”
