Over 50 Years. Countless Projects. One Incredible Legacy. Join us in Celebrating the Retirement of Don Sheffield!

Our Divisional VP, Kelly Martin, says it best, "Over the course of 50+ years, Don Sheffield has left his mark on some of JESCO's most complex projects, a few of which include Itawamba Community College Student Services Building, the University of Mississippi Library, Mississippi State University - Hunter Henry Center, Kimberly Clark, multiple large-scale projects for the North Mississippi Medical Center, and many more. But what set Don apart wasn't just his list of projects; it was how he got them done: sharp look-ahead planning, long hours, attention to detail, constant communication, and a standard for quality that never slipped. Clients and architects trusted him enough to request him again and again. He was tough, but our people and subcontractors respected him for it."

This week, JESCO celebrated alongside our longtime, repeat customer, Aurora Flight Sciences, at the ribbon-cutting for their facility expansion in Columbus, MS.

The project consisted of a 50K SF Building Expansion, including a 2,750 SF cleanroom, and Renovations to the existing 126K SF building, including interior office additions and exterior wall modifications.

Congratulations to our project team on another successful project, and thank you to Aurora for trusting JESCO once again!

Big things happening at our Fulton office! We gave the office a fresh new look with navy accents, custom furniture, and a beautiful painted tribute to our original building.

From our archives: JESCO crews erecting structural steel in the 1950s. Notice anything missing? Hard hats, safety glasses, safety vests. None of it existed on job sites like this one yet. We've come a long way in 85 years, and safety has been at the center of that evolution.
