I'm honored to stand in this picture too. Running Critter Getters for over 25 years on the Eastern Shore has taught me that this country isn't built by the biggest — it's built by the ones who show up, do honest work, and take care of their neighbors. That's what we've tried to be for this community since 1999.

Bald-faced hornets are one of the most aggressive stinging insects in Maryland. Unlike honeybees, they can sting multiple times — and they WILL chase you.

Memorial Day isn't about the long weekend or the start of summer — it's about the men and women who never made it home. The ones who gave everything so the rest of us could have ordinary days. Backyard cookouts. Kids playing outside. Quiet evenings watching the sun go down over the Bay.
