I just want to take a moment to recognize one of the greatest human beings I've ever known.
If you knew Joey, you know exactly what I'm talking about. He was the kind of guy whose opinion was always going to be heard whether you asked for it or not. He wouldn't take s**t from anyone... not even a toddler. At the same time, he'd go above and beyond for the people he loved without a second thought.
Joey worked hard, loved even harder, and took pride in everything he did — even when it had him mad as hell while doing it. From the very beginning, he was there for me. He watched me grow, helped my business grow, and supported me in more ways than I can count. Honestly, I don't know if things would have turned out the way they did without him.
Many of you met him. Some of you even had a little crush on him. 😂 I'll never forget the day someone asked for his number. We never let him live that one down, and if he were here, we'd still be giving him hell about it.
It's with a heavy heart that I share that Joey passed away two nights ago. Losing him has left a hole in so many hearts. Life feels a little emptier without him here.
But if Joey could read this and see everyone crying, he'd probably roll his eyes and say, "Alright, that's enough. Get up and go to work, p***y." And honestly, that's exactly the kind of love he gave — tough, real, and always pushing people forward.
We'll miss your laugh, your attitude, your loyalty, and the way you showed up for everyone around you. Thank you for everything, Joey.
Rest easy, brother. We love you, and we'll keep giving each other hell in your honor. ❤️
