Same paint color. Completely different look. đ¨
Choosing an exterior color can be tricky because paint doesnât always look the same once itâs on your home.
These two photos are a perfect example. The paint samples shown are the same colors, but look how different they appear depending on the lighting and location!
Sunlight, shade, time of day, surrounding colors, and even the surface itself can all change how we see a color.
Thatâs why we always recommend testing your colors directly on your home before committing. And donât just look at them once! Check them in the morning, afternoon, evening, sun, and shade.
A color you love on a paint chipâor even on someone elseâs houseâmay look completely different on yours.
When it comes to choosing paint colors, a bigger sample and a little patience can save you from a very expensive âthatâs not what I expected.â đ
