🏠💧 PROTECTING YOUR HOME FROM THE GROUND UP! 💧🏠

Another foundation waterproofing and drainage project completed by Martz Enterprises LLC! 🚜💪

When it comes to protecting your home, keeping water away from your foundation is one of the most important things you can do!

On this project, our crew excavated around the existing foundation, applied waterproofing sealant, installed dimple board and new footer drains, then backfilled, graded, seeded, and strawed the surrounding yard.

🔹 WHY DO WE INSTALL DIMPLE BOARD?

Dimple board provides an additional layer of protection between your foundation and the surrounding soil.

✅ Protects the Waterproofing: Helps prevent rocks, dirt, and backfill material from damaging the waterproofing coating during backfilling and as soil settles.

✅ Creates a Drainage Space: The raised dimples create a small air gap that allows water to travel downward toward the footer drainage system instead of sitting directly against the foundation wall.

✅ Helps Reduce Water Pressure: When paired with properly installed footer drains, dimple board helps channel water away, reducing hydrostatic pressure against the foundation.

✅ Long-Term Protection: Provides an extra layer of defense against moisture intrusion, helping extend the life of the waterproofing system.

💪 Waterproofing sealant keeps water from penetrating the foundation, while dimple board helps move that water down toward the drainage system. Together, they provide better protection than relying on sealant alone!

Once the waterproofing and drainage were installed, we restored the surrounding property with proper grading, grass seed, and straw!

Another project wrapped up by Martz Enterprises LLC!

This project received a major upgrade, including removal and replacement of the old deteriorated concrete, rebuilding the block around the basement stairwell, pouring new concrete, and replacing the old roof support posts with new supports.

The finished patio completely changed the look of the area and gave the homeowners a clean, solid, functional space.

🚪 One more upgrade is still coming — a brand-new cellar door will be installed soon to finish everything off!

This front porch got a major upgrade from start to finish. We tore into the old area, completed the block work, poured a brand-new concrete porch, and finished it off with new railing for a clean, updated look.

We used the Harley rake to help level out rough, uneven ground, break up high spots, fill in low areas, and create a much smoother surface that’ll be easier to mow and maintain.
