Hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and a great new year!! Closing out 2025 went out with a boom on me. Sept 12th my transmission went out on my work truck leaving me stranded in Romney. After some recommendations I found a transmission guy to take the truck to Sept 23rd. He didn`t have my truck done till Oct 28th. I was unable to do any jobs during this time. Then I get hit with covid and had to drive my street bike to the doctors in the freezing cold. Needless to say I was down for a while on that not being in good health in the 1st place. I finally get my truck back and feeling better Oct 28th. Drove it down the street 1 time and when I got back the driveshaft sounded like it just went out making all kinds of racket!! I order one on Amazon and it shows up late and is damaged. Return that for a replacement and got another damaged one a week later. I ended up at Autozone in Lavale and let them order one for me. It doesn`t show up 2 times putting me 2 more weeks behind. I finally get a driveshaft and have to pick it up on my street bike in the freezing cold again. The transmission repair caused my transfer case seal to leak also and i had to replace that as well. I finally have a running truck again and i find out that the transmission guy did not fix the transmission and now there are other problems. I drove the truck back over to him and we did a drive around testing with the computer and he told me my alternator was causing the problem. I ordered an alternator and replaced as soon as I could and still the same problem. Truck was not usable to get to any jobs safely although I did get 2 jobs done. I had to drop my truck off at the transmission place again and he tries to rig around the problem and tells me it`s good to go. But it was not running right at all passing gear kicking in every time I gassed the pedal going up a small hill. I have to leave the truck there again and during that last test now i dont even have over drive. It`s getting even worse. I leave my truck there again and after a week he is done and he finally had it fixed this time claiming he didn`t clean the area well enough for the clip to seal internally causing a hydraulic leak. In between the last repair i had some serious health issues and just my luck had to drive my street bike in the freezing cold to Keyser hospital. When I came back out the guy that stands out front handed me a slip of paper with the guys name on it who backed into my motorcycle!!!! What else can go wrong? LOL!! I didn`t get my truck back running right until Dec 5th 2025 - I was out of business from Sept 12 2025 to Dec 5th 2025!! Needless to say i had a long waiting list of customers. I have been trying to get everyone scheduled in and lost a few jobs. This time frame was like a nuclear blast to my business. I have never had suck a bad string of bad luck in my life!! Hopefully 2026 will be more forgiving then 2025. At present i am waiting to hear back from customers to get them all scheduled in and should be able to be caught back up by the end of this month hopefully. I would like to thank all my loyal customers for waiting this out with me and for those customers who couldn`t wait I completely understand and will be ready to go when you need me in the future. Hopefully 2026 with bring good health and prosperity to all!!
