Community members and friends alike,
I am much more likely to stack a brick wall than string words together. However, I want to address the recent social media posts regarding the cemetery repair in West Mineral.
I have been shocked and humbled by the response. It is not uncommon for my crew (both business crew and CTEC team) to be called upon to perform acts of service in our community. When myself and business partner, Lucas Brunetti, reached out to offer our repair services, free of charge, to the vandelized cemetery, we were only following the example that had been set before us. Not just by our crew, but also by our community.
Lucas, myself, many of the former and current CTEC students, and much of our crew come from Frontenac. (Those that certainly share our Raider values.) Lucas and I, along with both our families, have built our company with those values in mind.
I have been honored by all of the messages you have sent thanking me. However, I must make clear that I am simply a reflection of the community that built me. I come from a place where helping out, stepping up, and stepping in, is just a way of life. We strive to use the skills we've been given in a way that we can make life better for those around us. I am so grateful I get to see those values played out every day in my crew and my students.
That said, I would really like to draw attention to the people who were involved that day, and made us all so proud.
West Mineral Clerk for helping organize volunteers to come work side by side with us. All of the volunteers that were not affiliated with with our company or CTEC, local members of the community doing what was right and answering a call for help. I am sorry I didnt get everyones name. My life-long friend, partner, and brother, Lucas Brunetti, our masonry foreman, and past CTEC student Cody Grilz, Ty Gates, Landon Cummins, Alex Story, and Nathan Kaufman all of whom were Frontenac graduates as well as previous CTEC students. Our concrete superintendent who was a previous CTEC student Conner Synder. Current CTEC students who have forever earned a special place in my heart for their hard work ethics and genuine nature, Paxton Listwan, Clayton Schar, Eli Maples, Cooper Born, Kaleb Majors, and Kayden Chance. I would also like to thank the rest of our crew that might not have ties to Frontenac or CTEC but are considered family among us and uphold the same values, Brock Nunn- masonry division and Jose Moto, concrete foreman. Josh Franklin And Steve Morrow BAC Local 15.
Again, thank you to all the community members who sent messages and left comments. I am honored to be part of the trades, part of CTEC, and most of all a part of the Frontenac and SEK community. - Nacoma
