Timber Works Tree Care is looking for an experienced and motivated Forestry Mulcher Technician to join our Land Clearing Division.
This position will primarily involve working independently in the field operating a forestry mulcher/skid steer on residential and commercial land-clearing projects.
Responsibilities:
* Operate forestry mulcher and skid steer safely and efficiently.
* Perform forestry mulching, brush removal, and land-clearing work.
* Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
* Communicate professionally with customers while on job sites.
* Provide regular updates and report job progress directly to Operations.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
* Assist with other land-clearing duties as needed.
Requirements:
* Proficient skid steer operator with forestry mulching experience.
* Valid CDL required.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Dependable, hardworking, and safety-minded.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Able to take direction and make good decisions in the field.
* Previous land clearing, forestry, excavation, or heavy equipment experience preferred.
