If your safety goal is simply meeting OSHA requirements, you've already accepted mediocrity.

That probably sounds controversial. But it's true.

OSHA standards establish the minimum legal requirements for workplace safety. They're the floor, not the ceiling.

The best organizations don't ask: "Are we OSHA compliant?"

They ask: "Have we done everything reasonably possible to make sure everyone goes home safely today?"

Compliance helps you avoid citations. Leadership helps you prevent tragedies.

Every company should strive to meet OSHA requirements... But if compliance is your finish line instead of your starting point, you're missing the bigger picture.

At the end of the day, success isn't measured by the number of OSHA citations you avoided.

It's measured by the number of people who made it home safely.

We had the BEST time yesterday putting together back-to-school backpacks for foster children across DFW. 🎒💙

Before we got started, our Founder, Scot M. Thomas, who serves on the board of , shared something that really stuck with us:

“We’re a company who does the right thing. Upbring ends child abuse, we end workplace fatalities. We both have such important missions. We can’t forget why we do what we do each and every day.”

That reminder set the tone for the day. While our missions are different, they’re both rooted in protecting people and making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

We’re incredibly grateful to for the life-changing work they do for children and families across Texas, and a special thank you to Barbara Thomas (Barbara Thomas) and Kelly Kaufman for organizing such a meaningful event. We’re honored to have been a small part of it!
