Why We Used TWO Different Pool Plaster Colors on This Pool & Spa
In the thousands of pools we've built, we've only been asked a few dozen times to use one plaster color in the pool and a completely different finish and color in the spa — and this project is a perfect example of why you might want to.

For this backyard, we wanted the spa to become the focal point. The spa features a black pebble plaster with a marble finish, while the pool has a beautiful Caribbean blue quartz finish.

Using two completely different finishes and colors creates a subtle but dramatic contrast that really makes the spa stand out. Most homeowners choose one finish and one color for the entire pool and spa, but this project shows how mixing materials can create a truly unique custom pool design.

If you're considering a custom pool in Frisco, Prosper, Celina, McKinney, Plano, or the North Dallas area, let Prestige Pool & Patio help you create something that's uniquely yours.

Sandblasted Concrete Deck

This modern pool deck transformation combines style, texture, and functionality. The existing concrete was sandblasted to add traction while bringing out the natural color and character of the surface. We also sandblasted the pool coping to create a seamless match with the deck.

Custom details complete the design, including hide pool skimmers, clean turf strips, and a strategic turf gap that visually separates the pool area from the main patio.

The result is a modern, cohesive outdoor space with added texture, improved traction, and carefully designed transitions between concrete, coping, and turf.
