🎉 Happy 6-Year Anniversary, Chap! 🎉

When we asked our team to share a few words about Chap, the same qualities came up again and again: loyal, dependable, consistent, hardworking and meticulous. And, of course, always ready with a joke!

For six years, Chap has set an example through the pride he takes in his work. His clients love him, his teammates look up to him and we all know that when something is in Chap’s hands, he will take care of it.

From keeping our warehouse clean and organized to communicating with our repair team to help solve problems, Chap makes a difference in so many ways. He keeps us informed, reminds us of the important things and holds us to the same high standards he sets for himself—with a little good-natured ribbing along the way. 😊

Lightning paused pool care today so we treated our team to breakfast while waiting for safe conditions. With jobs still to finish, we appreciated so many making time to gather before heading back out.

We’re collecting new fuzzy socks for the National Breast Cancer Foundation with a goal of 1,100 pairs. You can order socks on Amazon such as these https://a.co/d/00IIU2ba or shop wherever you like and leave your donations in a bag at your pool equipment pad or back door on your service day. Your Cool Pool People technician will pick them up!

Weekly Pool Care Tip:
Trees near your pool can drop leaves and other debris into the water, especially when the wind picks up. Keep branches trimmed back as best you can and empty your skimmer baskets regularly to help your pool stay clean and your water circulate properly. Keeping trees and shrubs trimmed back from the perimeter makes it safer for anyone caring for the pool to walk, skim, brush and properly clean the pool.

Today our Team Leads came together to walk through each day of our technician training program. It was incredible to see everyone aligned and committed to giving every new technician the same strong, consistent training experience.

When we first created these positions we didn’t know exactly what the roles would look like or how they would evolve. Their ability to adapt, embrace change and grow alongside the company has been incredible.

Being a Team Lead requires so much more than technical knowledge. It takes patience, flexibility and the ability to change course when someone goes on vacation or calls in sick, support the team when something goes wrong and provide continuing education every day. Most importantly, their positive attitudes set the tone for the rest of the team.

I may have been behind the camera today, but I could not have been prouder of the leaders sitting in front of it. Watching them take ownership of their roles and help shape the future of this company is incredibly rewarding.

Thank you for your leadership and for everything you do to help our technicians and our entire company grow.
