Your outdoor space should feel like your space.

At our Windsor Park Project — Preston Hollow, Dallas, this outdoor living space was designed around how the homeowners wanted to live outside.

A custom covered structure with warm wood ceilings, exposed beams, integrated fans and heaters creates a comfortable gathering space, while the surrounding water feature brings movement and atmosphere right to the edge of the patio.

At Terrace, we don’t believe outdoor living should feel one-size-fits-all. We design spaces around the home, the property, and the way you actually want to use them.

Make it yours. Build it around the way you live.

Thinking about swimming in your own backyard next summer?

A custom pool starts long before excavation. Design, selections, engineering, permitting and construction all take time—and the best results come from planning the entire space together.

If your goal is to have your new pool ready for Summer 2027, now is the time to start the conversation.

Let’s design a pool that feels like it was always meant to be part of your home.

A great outdoor space isn’t just about how it looks. It’s about how every detail works together.

At this Hickory Hill Estates project in Argyle, we designed the space for year-round use with tall tongue-and-groove ceilings, Bromic heaters, ceiling fans, motorized shades, multiple levels of stone hardscape, and a dedicated entertainment wall.

One of the smaller details was also one of the most functional: the grilling area was extended with its own covered patio section and a fold-down shade designed to help protect the motorized screen from heat coming off the grills.

Those are the kinds of decisions that turn a patio into a space people actually use.

Designed for comfort. Built for entertaining. Made to feel like part of the home.

A great outdoor structure should feel like it was always meant to be there.

At our Montebello Park project, the goal was to create an outdoor living space that feels like a natural extension of the home—adding comfort, function and a defined place to gather without losing the character of the property.

That’s how we approach outdoor structures at Terrace: not simply as a way to add shade, but as an opportunity to completely change how a backyard is used.

Designed for the home. Built for life outside.

A custom pool should be more than something to swim in—it should shape the way the entire backyard is experienced.

At our Lakewood Heights project in Dallas, the pool was designed with a raised integrated spa, expansive tanning ledge, built-in loungers and a wide spillway that creates a strong visual connection between the pool and surrounding outdoor living areas.

Every detail was considered as part of one complete backyard environment.

Designed to look beautiful. Built to be lived in.

What if your outdoor space could adapt to the weather?

At our Manning Lane project in Dallas, a Renson louvered pergola created a flexible outdoor living space with adjustable sunlight and shade, while maintaining a clean architectural connection to the home.

Paired with a custom fire feature and dedicated entertaining areas, the result is a space designed for everything from quiet evenings to hosting friends and family.

Comfort when you need it. Open air when you want it.

An outdoor kitchen should do more than move the grill outside.

At our Mustang Lakes project in Celina, the outdoor kitchen and bar were designed as part of the larger backyard experience — creating a place where cooking, entertaining and relaxing all happen together.

The covered structure provides a comfortable gathering space while the kitchen and bar remain visually connected to the pool, spa and surrounding outdoor areas. Details like the brick columns, tongue-and-groove wood ceiling, integrated lighting, fans and heaters help the space feel less like an addition and more like a true extension of the home.

That’s the difference between adding an outdoor kitchen and designing an outdoor living space around how you actually want to use it.

A place for the moments that matter most.

A backyard is at its best when every part feels like it was designed together.

For this Mustang Lakes project in Celina, Terrace transformed the entire outdoor space around one cohesive plan — combining a custom pool and raised spa, water features, a dedicated fire feature, patio structure, and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and bar.

Rather than treating each element as a separate addition, the goal was to create one complete environment for entertaining, relaxing and spending more time outside.

From the architecture of the covered structure to the pool, fire, lighting and gathering spaces, every piece was designed to complement the home and the way the homeowners wanted to use their backyard.

One backyard. One vision. A completely new way to enjoy home.
