Thank you so much to the Seahorse family for making such a big donation!

Don’t forget if you have excess food and are on your way out via Rodanthe please come drop it off to us at the beach access here. Likewise if you are leaving with excess food via Ocracoke than you may drop off donations at the Food Pantry in Buxton that’s across the street from the Highschool.

Thank you so much again to the Seahorse family!

Food Pantry Collection

Altura Tree Service needs your help. We want to set up a collection spot for outgoing visitors and residents to drop off excess non-perishable food items on their way to the Rodanthe Ferry Dock, but we don’t want to be in the way in an already congested area.

Would any store or road on the soundside of NC-12 near the ferry dock be willing to let us set up our truck to collect donations?

Alternatively, would the Water Department or Community Building allow setup at their location?

We can also collect items that can be donated to the ferry crews, so select perishable items may be accepted and redistributed.

Thank you and drive safe!
