The puppies are home and it was my first time bottle feeding (aside from my initial training 😅) !!!It went ok… at first I was planning to separate them while they were being fed, but one of them pooped in their holding location and I didn’t want them walking through it so I brought them together. I also ordered different bottles after this initial feed and so far I think those have been easier to use. It’s a bit of trial and error at this point but their bellies are getting full and they are sleeping for several hours post-feed, so that’s encouraging 🙌🏻
Iceman, Charlie, and their three littermates will be available to adopt from Everett Animal Shelter in about 5-6 weeks after they have been spayed & neutered. 🐾

I picked up my first bottle baby foster puppies!! These pittie mixes are 3.5 wks old and I’ll be fostering them for just a couple days until a more permanent foster can be found. They are *not* available for adoption yet, but I’ll make sure to share once they are! Wish me luck doing my first bottle feed at home 😅

Eeeee, look at these little babies!!! Bottle feeding puppies is harder than it looks 🤪 but how amazing and special to be able to help these puppies grow and develop while they are so young and vulnerable 🥺.

The Everett Animal Shelter in Everett, WA, is having an adoption event this Friday and Saturday from 2-5pm. All of the animals in this reel have waived adoption fees! So come on down to the shelter and pick out your next best friend! 🐱 💗🐶 💗

It’s another Everett Animal Shelter tour! Take a look at the dogs and cats available for adoption 🐶 🐱 👀 If you are interested in a particular animal, the best way to know if they are still available is to look online at the shelter’s website. Link in my profile! 🫶🏻

These are a few red flags to watch for if you are buying a puppy from a breeder. 🚩🚩
My advice is based on bad experiences I’ve heard about from others, and education I’ve received in the animal welfare/animal rescue community. If you are on the fence about whether you should buy from a breeder or try to adopt from a shelter/rescue, I’ll be posting a few videos this week that will hopefully be helpful to you! 💗

This trio of dogs was too cute not to have a place on the grid!! Rococo was our temp foster while we babysat our former foster Hippo, making him our 28th foster dog! (When we fostered Hippo, she was our 6th foster!) Their bitey face games are my favorite 😅🤪

An update on my former foster, Greer, who was one of the 42 Westies rescued from a breeding/hoarding/neglect situation about six weeks ago in Marysville. (All Westies from this case have been adopted.)
