Let's talk COVID-19 precautions. Todays category we would like to further discuss is Employee Education. Prior to returning to work from shelter-in-place, at the time of hire and throughout employment, CarrollCo, Inc. will educate all employees in a language that is readily understandable about how they can reduce the spread of COVID-19 and the latest information from the CDC and Cal/OSHA.
We discussed procedures like cleaning and disinfection, and policies on illness. Some additional precautions we would like to share:
Inform Human Resources if they have a sick housemate with COVID-19 or if they came
in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 while unmasked.
How an infected person can spread COVID-19 and to avoid touching their eyes, nose, and
mouth with unwashed hands.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces such as tools, workstations, computer keyboards, telephones, handrails, and doorknobs.
Avoid using other employees’ tools, phones, desks, offices, or other work tools and equipment, when possible. If necessary, clean and disinfect them before and after use.
Practice social distancing by avoiding employee gatherings and maintaining distance (approximately 6 feet or 2 meters) from others when possible.
Wear a face covering to protect persons around the employee when combined with physical distancing and frequent hand washing.
Avoid non-essential travel if possible and check CDC prior to travel.
Telework from home when possible.
Thank you for your continued support.
