We call it the ladder.

It starts with a laborer on day one and can end with a division manager or superintendent, and the distance between those two isn't luck. It's opportunity, taken one rung at a time. One team member has been climbing that ladder for 20 years. He wakes up at 3am every day, and he'll tell you straight: you don't do that for two decades unless you love it.
