We were lucky to attend Sashco's Zero Failures seminar at Sashco headquarters in Thornton, Colorado. We completed the Wood Science course along with the Business Focus course. Above and beyond expectations in the knowledge shared and relationships built. We would like to thank Timeless Wood Care Products for putting us in contact with the right people at Sashco, Inc. Restoration in the Holland area. This is a prime example of little to no maintenance. This home should have been chinked from day one with quarter round siding on it rather than a much tighter fitting full scribe log home. Rain and moisture were seeping in for years. With the extent of log damage the owner opted to only have the back stripped and repaired with the remainder left for this coming year. Atlas Blasting Solutions media blasted, sanded, applied a UV barrier coat and applied (2) coats of high gloss Transformation stain. The rot was to an extent it was through the sheetrock behind the cabinets in the kitchen. Log siding was stripped off, all new OSB and insulation, v***r barrier, flashing and finally new siding hand cut to fit. Another prime example of the partnership between Top Notch and Atlas Blasting Solutions. We can build or repair any log home project out there in house, start to finish!

Another log repair complete! Originally planned on facing these logs until we started cutting in. A majority of these needed replacement all the way through. On a corner it is no easy task but we got it done. Many of these homes are purchased after the previous owner had long neglected them for 10... up to 30 years with zero maintenance. Regular cleaning and steps can be taken to avoid these big expenses. Glad to see the owner let us bring this one back to life.
