Our crew completed repairs this week on the Route 302 bridge between Casco and Naples, Maine over the Crooked River. A job well done by our team, who started repairs during the winter, along with our subcontracting partners. Everyone enjoy Memorial Day weekend!

CPM Constructors is excited to start work on the $56 million Hogan Road Interchange project in Bangor, Maine. The project with the Maine Department of Transportation will include construction of Maine’s first “diverging diamond” interchange. The multi-year project is schedule to be completed by the Fall of 2029.

Our crews at the Route One Cousins River Bridge project have gone from installing Phase 2 beams to placing the concrete deck in recent weeks. The bridge, between Freeport and Yarmouth, Maine and adjacent to I-295, will be open this summer once the rest of the bridge and road approach work is completed.

From the water to the woods, CPM Constructors has been keeping busy this winter, executing multiple projects for the City of Portland, Maine. Our marine crew has been performing fender pile repairs at the Portland Ocean Terminal, ensuring that the facility is ready to dock marine equipment when the busy summer season returns. On the other side of town, another crew is installing a pedestrian bridge with timber access ramps for a future trail connection to the existing Stroudwater River trail system. This will expand the trail system's public access points and enhance the local trail network.

Our crews have been busy around Maine throughout late fall and into this cold winter! Photos include placing the concrete bridge deck in Wilton, Maine, conducting repairs to the S**o River Bridge on the Maine Turnpike/I-95, installing pile in the median of I-95 for the new Route One bridge at Exit 15 in Yarmouth, Maine, and working on the second phase of the Cousin's River Bridge between Freeport and Yarmouth, Maine. CPM Constructors has been busy working at three different bridge projects in Yarmouth, Maine. At Exit 17, the new I-295 bridges have been open for a year, while this year work was completed underneath on Route 1. Our subcontracting partner Shaw Brothers is finishing the paving of Route 1, new islands and sidewalks, and the extension of the town's recreational path. Meanwhile, at the Cousin's River bridge on Route 1 the crew has switched over to phase 2 of the project. At I-295 Exit 15, the crew is driving pile for the new bridge, while our subcontracting partner Chase Ex has been clearing and building access. Please drive safely through the area!

Our crews have been working on major renovations to the Maine Turnpike Authority Androscoggin River Bridge between Lewiston and Auburn. The work has included building lane crossovers for traffic safety, along with concrete and bridge joint repairs. The team is currently working on the northbound lanes, but will be converting to southbound repairs in the future. Drivers please keep our workers in mind and travel safely through the area!
