Last week…paint, and boy did I 💛 the color. The homeowners went from a greige to a brighter creamy yellow. I don’t have the exact color since it was a color-match.

Put in a lot of work the last two weeks! Built a (drywall) fireplace with hearth and mantel trimmed out with crown and baseboard. Floating shelves on each side (adding one more to each side at a later date). Shiplapped foyer wall and island, and painted an accent wall in the kitchen (will also be back to paint more).

Sherwin-Williams SW7605 Gale Force is a beautiful deep navy blue with subtle grey undertones.

Finished this built-in today. Next week starts another big project which includes a fireplace/hearth/mantel, shiplap, an...

Busy week!!

First half of the week I did a lime wash for a nursery. Such an (easy) way to make a statement! Second half of the week included a board and batten wall in a master bedroom and a half shiplap wall in the foyer. Love both of these options to add some awesome color and character to a room!

I took this week off because we had an out of town visitor and it was band camp week. My baby is a senior and drum major this year and I have always been the mom that volunteers as much time as I can to be there for my kids. Hockey, softball, and band!

A lot of people do not realize how darn hard these kids work. We have been under extreme heat warnings all week. They are outside a lot! They are sweaty, hot, and by now probably very tired. Monday through Friday 8am-5pm!! I couldn’t be more proud of them for their determination. They have absolutely rocked the week.

If you have a band kid or know one, support them with your whole heart. Tell them how remarkable they are. Cheer them on 🎉🎶❤️ They are absolutely amazing!

These guys just got this girl gushing. They loved their wall so much they had to send me more pics of it in use.
