Brighten up your kitchen with indirect undercabinet lighting! 💡
When we are included in the collaborative efforts of a project, I will 100% recommend under cabinet lighting.
Down lights and pendents can give off a lot of good task lighting but can sometimes overwhelm a space.
Under cabinet lights give a good balance of task and prep lighting while emitting a soft indirect light that isn’t harsh to be around.
In fact, I would say the majority of my clients (including myself) leave the undercabinet lights on indefinitely, even as an indirect night light.

Exterior lighting
The second story soffit lights were a little nerve racking to get in, mostly because attic space is almost none existent. One room was fished to an interior wall using sticks, the other was tapped off power to a receptacle on the exterior wall. Caseta switches were added to make switching available at a central location.
The garage lights were slightly more forgiving. They were also installed with a Caseta switch/remote kit and centrally located.
This is the first time I ever installed a lighted number sign. At first I thought it was a little much but I REALLY like how it came out. We paired that to the same switching for the garage lighting.
We also installed 2 flood light cameras and 5 exterior lights

After 3 years with this van, I finally got around to putting letters on it 😅
I’ve been trying to sure up the backend of the business. It has definitely been the biggest challenge of being a contractor. The work itself pales in comparison to all of the aspects of running a company.
I’m just finally glad that people will know exactly what to expect when I pull up, rather than become unnerved at the sight of an unmarked white van 😂

Installation of a HomeFlex EV charger in Union Beach, NJ. This model is an approved charger for JCP&L’s EV Driven program.
JCP&L is offering residential customers up to $1500 towards the installation of an approved EV Charger. They are also offering up to $5500 for service upgrades.
Taking advantage of this program would be ideal even if you do not own an electric vehicle yet. A new service upgrade and provisions for an EV Charger will add value to your home.

Today wasn’t a huge job, but it was very satisfying.

We made our way back to our hot tub install in Rumson and installed some 4” recessed soffit lights.

The end result was very satisfying 😎
