I can’t believe it’s that time of year again! 🍂🔥

It feels like summer just got here, but fall and heating season are right around the corner. If you haven’t done so already, now is a great time to reach out and schedule your yearly heating preventative maintenance before the cold weather arrives.

This year marks my 6th year in business with KDS Mechanical Services, LLC, and I want to take the opportunity to say how incredibly thankful I am for the support my business has received from our local community over those six years.

KDS Mechanical Services is a locally owned and operated business based right here in Fredericksburg, PA, and the overwhelming majority of my customers are right here in Lebanon County and the surrounding communities.

That is something I’m extremely proud of, and it’s something I intend to keep at the heart of my business as it continues to grow.

I’m grateful for every customer who has trusted me to come into their home and work on their equipment, recommended me to a friend or family member, shared my name with a neighbor, or simply supported my business over the years. My name and reputation are attached to every job I do, and providing quality, dependable service to the communities around me will always be my focus.

My name is Kody and I am locally owned/operated. My work consists of HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and food service equipment. I work in residential and commercial environments.

Over the next several days, I wanted to share a collection of photos from some of the HVAC and plumbing work I’ve completed over the years. More than anything, I hope they reflect my commitment to quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and doing every job the right way.

I entered the HVAC industry at 18 years old, and now at 36, after starting KDS Mechanical Services at the age of 30, I still approach every installation with the same mindset: never cut corners, never settle for “good enough,” and always leave behind work that I’m proud to put my name on.

I’m especially proud that KDS Mechanical Services is based right here in Fredericksburg and serves Lebanon County and the surrounding communities. I’ve spent my entire life here, and my family has called this area home for generations. Being trusted by my neighbors to work in their homes is a responsibility I never take lightly.

This summer, I’ve also had the privilege of having my 14-year-old son, Karson, working alongside me. Watching him develop his natural mechanical ability and desire to learn the trade has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

At the end of the day, this business has never been just about heating and air conditioning. It’s about serving my community with integrity, taking pride in my craft, and building a legacy that reflects the values I hope to pass on to the next generation.

Another high quality install completed. This time it was at a house that I have driven by hundreds of times, a beautiful old limestone house in Annville. I have always loved the old limestone homes, they will outlast any of today’s new builds!

This latest Google review means a lot to me.

KDS Mechanical Services was built on one thing — quality. I’m not trying to be the cheapest or the fastest… I’m trying to be the one you call when you want it done right. No shortcuts, no rushing — just work built to last, the way it used to be done. That old-school pride and attention to detail is something I refuse to compromise on.

This job was for a customer in North Lebanon Township, right here in Lebanon County — the place I’ve called home my entire life. Most of my work stays right here in this county, and that means everything to me. My name and my work are tied directly to this community.

And something I’m really excited about — my son Karson turns 14 next month and will be working with me this summer. He’s already calling me after school asking if he can come help on jobs. I’m looking forward to teaching him not just the trade, but the values behind it — doing things the right way and taking pride in your work.

This isn’t just a business to me. It’s a reflection of who I am and what I stand for.
