A true yard sale. Once again, we are selling plants grown locally in the Lee’s Hill North neighborhood. This year, the plant selection includes 40 different types of sun perennials (there are different varieties in some category types), 5 types of sun trees and/or bushes, 18 types of shade-loving (morning sun-afternoon shade tolerant) perennials, and 3 types of shade bushes.
All plants have been in pots for 4 weeks so they have established a good rood system or they have been tossed!
When: Saturday, April 15 from 8:00-3:30 and Sunday, April 16 from 12:30-4:00. The rain date will be April 29 from 8:00-5:00.
Where: 10302 Lexington Ct. 22408 (down at the bottom of the hill).
Sun Plants include: Allium (3 types), Bee Balm (3 colors), candy tuft, Sweet Autumn Clematis, purple coneflower, coreopsis (2 types), grape hyacinth, ground covers ( 3 types), crocosmia (2 types) daylilies (3 types), dianthus, evening primrose (3 types), feverfew, garden phlox, hardy geraniums, iris (5 varieties), lilies (5 varieties), Liriope, Obedience plant, peony, yellow poker plant, sedum (2 types), Shasta daisy, Spiderwort, Star of Bethlehem, thyme, yarrow, young Yoshino cherry trees, burning bush, Abelia bush.
Shade Plants include: pink Astilbe, columbine (4 colors), English Primrose, ferns (2 types), Hardy Begonias, Hellebore (white, shades of pink, green clusters), Heuchera (2 varieties), Hosta (4 varieties), Lily of China, Lily of the Valley, Italian Lord and Ladies, pulmonaria (2 varieties), Solomon’s Seal, Strawberry Geraniums, toad lilies, Aucuba, Mahonia, Baneberry (Black Negligee).
House Plants: Peace Lily, Mother-in-Law or Snake plant, Begonia (can be outside in summer, pull in for winter. Winters over really well – fun looking.)
