Responsibilities:
📋 Prepare and attend project estimates
🏗️ Manage multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish
🤝 Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and field personnel
📅 Schedule work, track progress, and ensure projects stay on time and within budget
🔄 Effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Qualifications:
✅ Strong knowledge of all phases of construction is required

Commercial Electrical & Construction Company

Circuit Electric & Construction Services is seeking an experienced VP of Operations to help lead and grow our expanding company. We are a family-owned business established in 1986, currently operating with approximately 50 employees and performing roughly $8-10
million annually in commercial electrical and construction work throughout Maryland, DC, and Virginia.

We are looking for a strong leader with real-world construction and operations experience who can help oversee daily operations, improve processes, manage teams, and assist in scaling the company to the next level.

Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day company operations
Manage project managers, estimators, supervisors, and field operations
Improve operational efficiency and accountability
Assist with scheduling, staffing, and production management
Review job costing, profitability, and project performance
Help improve systems, communication, and workflow
Work directly with ownership on company growth and strategy
Support client relationships and project ex*****on

Qualifications
Strong construction and/or electrical industry background
Experience managing operations in a construction-related business
Knowledge of project management, estimating, scheduling, and job costing
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Ability to manage both office and field operations
Experience overseeing multiple projects and teams simultaneously

Preferred Experience
Commercial electrical or general construction background
Experience in a $5M–$25M company environment
Understanding of profitability, overhead, and operational performance

Compensation

Competitive salary based on experience, along with performance incentives and growth opportunity.
