The other week we ran a poll asking you about the most valuable traits of a leader. Today we want to acknowledge those essential qualities in our own leader, STULZ USA President Brian Hatmaker, and congratulate him on his nomination for CEO of the Year by the Maryland Tech Council!
Brian's career in mission-critical infrastructure spans decades, but his impact here is what truly sets him apart. He first joined STULZ USA in 2011, building out the aftermarket and business development functions from the ground up, strengthening the service partner platform, technical training programs, and the operational infrastructure that supports customers long after installation.
By 2014, Brian had grown into a Senior Vice President role with full P&L responsibility across Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Service in North America, overseeing one of the industry's most comprehensive precision cooling portfolios and helping to position STULZ as a recognized leader in data center solutions. During his tenure, STULZ USA was named one of the 20 Most Promising Data Center Solutions Providers by CIO Magazine.
After a period, leading global data center and advising AI strategy outside the company, Brian returned to STULZ USA in August 2023 as President. He came back with even broader perspective: global strategic accounts, ventures and M&A, technology partnerships, AI infrastructure, and a sharp focus on sustainable, high performance cooling solutions for the world's most demanding customers.
This nomination reflects not just Brian's executive track record, but the kind of leadership that builds lasting organizations. We are proud to have him at the helm of STULZ USA.
