Did you have hail, ripped siding, loose shingles or gutters that used to be connected to your house? Call/text Wayne May at 317-727-2559

⚠️ STORM DAMAGE ⚠️

Late evening update: Overall, the county fared better than some other areas. A few small power outages in some locations. Now that it's dark, drive with caution in case you come across hazards in the road or some localized flooding.

Original post: Early reports are a lot of limbs and some trees down. This has caused numerous power outages thru the county.

Emergency crews and 911 are very busy getting the calls triaged and assistance sent. Please be patient and watch for downed lines, trees and localized flooding

Did you know that a road, just like a roof, sheds water to a preferred destination such as a ditch or creek?

BE SAFE TODAY! Dateline DeMotte, Indiana last week: Slow moving Tornado video from last week’s storms. If you fast forward the video, you can see the clouds & debris field rotating.

PSA: this video was taken from a driveway. Many people are very close to a tornado, often standing behind large glass windows… CAUTION - glass & flying debris create a large portion of injuries during periods of straight line wind or tornados. ❤️🚑❤️
Approximate location: “North end of DeMotte - one mile south of the river road. The tornado crossed over 232 about 1/2 mile N of the river - so it is 1 1/2 miles from where the video was taken.”
