Here are a few pictures from another job we were called out to fix, showing the difference between the proper and improper way to hang a submersible pump on a well seal.
A well pump and drop pipe need to be installed correctly and supported properly. When they aren't, it can lead to unnecessary problems down the road, including stress on the well seal, plumbing issues, leaks, and damaged components.

🚨 PLEASE STOP CALLING PLUMBERS FOR WELL WORK! 🚨
We’re seeing this more than ever, and honestly, it’s costing homeowners thousands of dollars unnecessarily.
🔧 Plumbers are plumbers.
💧 Well professionals are well professionals.
Today we went to a home that was experiencing low water pressure. The homeowner had previously called a plumbing company and was charged over $2,000 for various box-store parts and equipment.
The problem? They still had low pressure.
On top of that, the homeowner had to call the plumber back because a part they had previously repaired was leaking again. When we arrived, we had to repair that same leaking part again because the previous repair had not held.
The homeowner had also been told by the plumber that their well pump was bad.
After properly diagnosing the well system, we found that the pump was NOT bad.
👉 The actual problem was simply a clogged filter cartridge in the existing filter housing.
We replaced the filter cartridge, and the water pressure immediately returned to normal. 💧
This customer had already spent over $2,000, when this problem could have been diagnosed and corrected for less than half of that cost.
We specialize in water wells and well pump systems, and we use quality well-specific products and equipment that aren't typically available at your local big-box store.

💧 No job is too big or too small!
Here's one of the bigger jobs we recently completed.
This system required pulling a 5 HP well pump that was set approximately 300 feet deep on 2-inch galvanized pipe. We installed a new 5 HP motor, a 50 GPM liquid end, and a new 5 HP deluxe control box to get everything back up and running.
This well supplies water to a pond that had gotten extremely low, so getting the system back in operation was a top priority.
Because of the location, our service truck couldn't safely reach the well and lift the pump, so we teamed up with Campbell Crane to help with the heavy lifting. Thanks to their assistance, everything went as smoothly as possible, and we had the system back in service.
Unfortunately, we were so focused on getting the customer's water flowing again that we forgot to take pictures of the new pump before it went back down the well!

Here are a couple of pictures from a recent pressure tank replacement we completed. We didn't just replace the old tank—we upgraded the system from a 20-gallon tank to a new 36-gallon pressure tank for better performance and longer pump life.

Here are a few pictures from recent jobs we've completed!
The first photos show a new well system featuring a 1 HP, 20 GPM pump paired with a 44-gallon pressure tank. This setup is ready to provide reliable water service for whatever our customer needs.
The next photos show a broken coupling on a pipe in the well. This issue was causing low water pressure and forcing the pump to run continuously. Problems like this can lead to higher power bills and unnecessary wear on your equipment if not addressed quickly.

Another couple jobs knocked out today by Clayton’s Water Well Pump Service.
Our first call was a well that was on its third pump, and this was our first time working on it. After checking everything over, we found the pump was way oversized for the well, causing it to constantly overwork and burn up. Proper pump sizing is a huge part of making sure your well system runs correctly and helps you get the lifespan out of your pump that you should.
The second job was an old hand-dug well that had a punched well installed down the center after the original well dried up. This one turned into a pump change with a little extra work involved. The pump was stuck from corrosion, and the well seal had broken bolts, so we had to cut the steel casing to safely pull the pump.
