To our community and customers:
We want to be completely honest and upfront.
We choose not to upcharge or mark up our products so we can keep your material costs as low as possible, we may have to add cost on for fuel if it's a distance away to pay for the fuel .
Because we make every effort to find the best product/ price for you and not charge for that time , our delivery fees aren’t an "extra profit" tactic—they are the cost of moving heavy weight.
The reality of what it takes to get a dump truck to your site:
Fuel: A few hours on the road easily costs approx. $500 in fuel alone.
Wear: Hauling tons of material puts massive stress on our trucks. Our trucks are at a gross weight of 80k, those permits cost a few thousand for each truck yearly .
Time: Every run requires hours of loading, driving, and unloading safely.
I see Scott doing maintenance on these trucks every weekend About 10 plus hours getting them ready for the week. I see my brother and Dale help him during the week just to keep them rolling . That's a cost we have not put into our cost. It's a learning curve for us.
A single tire blowout can cripple us. If tow is involved you're looking at over 2 k easily. To keep these two trucks going, our out of pocket cost increased over 8 k a month.
We are just trying to make it thru like the next person. Our prices haven't changed much since 2019 however we are having to add on the expenses that was put on us, for it's affected our operating expenses. We aren't the cheapest, not the most expensive but we are fair and our quality of work, loyalty speaks for itself.
When we are asked to deliver for free, we are being asked to pay hundreds of dollars out of our own pockets to do a job. As a small business, we simply can't absorb those costs and stay open. If we see it's more beneficial to you cost wise to send the job to someone else who may be closer , we can and do that with your permission.
We promise to always give you honest pricing and hard work. All we ask in return is your understanding that our fuel, equipment, and time have real costs and our kids need to eat as well.
Thank you for supporting us and keeping our trucks moving!
