We’re getting closer to finding our out-of-state investment market!

This was actually market #3 that we’ve visited. Third time’s a charm, right? 🤷‍♀️

First was Lubbock, Texas — it worked perfectly on paper, but once we visited, we realized it wasn’t somewhere we’d want to travel to regularly.

Next was Charlotte, NC and the surrounding areas. Perfect on paper- and we loved it in person- but the flights and travel time from home just weren’t realistic for managing rentals long-term.

So I started searching for somewhere with population growth, a diverse economy, good investment potential, and somewhere we’d actually enjoy visiting.

That brought us to Rapid City, SD! The name says it all because the area is rapidly growing with so much new construction happening, continued population growth, several different industries, and it’s only a one-hour time difference from home.

I think we’re getting pretty close to finding the right market for us🤞

I’m actually so sad to see this one go! But I’m so happy for the nicest neighbors who get to welcome a new couple to the neighborhood.

How cool is this?! My colleague Derek will have the first-ever town sold on eBay back on the market! 🏡

The town was purchased nearly 20 years ago with plans to develop an off-grid community. The current owners wish to see the vision through.
