Since 1997, Puryear Custom Pools has built more than pools in Fort Worth — from home repairs for local families to supporting Junior Diabetes Research in honor of a longtime client's son.

Craftsmanship is the work. Community is the reason behind it.

It is the question asked most often, and it deserves a straightforward answer. Once permits are approved, most Puryear pools require eight to fourteen weeks of active construction — from layout through pool school.

Every property is different, but this is the general rhythm a client can expect.

Not every family wants a diving board and a deep end — some want a slow, deliberate walk into the water. A beach entry accomplishes exactly that: a gradual, zero-depth approach built directly into a freeform design.

It is a small design decision, but one that changes how an entire family uses a backyard for years to come.

If ease of access matters as much as design to your family, let's talk about it.

A custom pool is a considered investment in how a family lives outdoors for decades to come. Financing options exist to make that investment accessible without requiring the full cost upfront.

We walk every client through the options available during the initial consultation, with full transparency from the outset.

Ask us about financing structured around your timeline.

Nick Barnes has spent more than twenty years in the pool industry, beginning in construction before moving into design.🎨
He has been part of the Puryear team since 2018.

That kind of grounding matters. A design informed by years of hands-on building is a design built to be realized exactly as drawn.

A negative edge pool appears to dissolve into the horizon, water spilling silently over an edge set a fraction of an inch below the surface, recirculating from a hidden basin below.

The effect looks effortless. Achieving it requires the kind of precision engineering we treat as our standard, not our exception.

If your property has a view worth framing, let's discuss what's possible.

Recognition doesn't happen once by accident. Pool & Spa News has named Puryear Custom Pools to its national Top 50 list nearly every year since 2012 — fourteen years, including 2026. 🥇

That kind of consistency isn't earned with a single great project. It's the result of holding the same standard, year after year, build after build.

Experience the standard behind fourteen years of recognition — schedule your consultation. 👇

Every home has a language — clean lines or natural curves. A pool built in harmony with that language doesn't just sit in the backyard; it feels like it was always meant to be there. 🏊

Geometric design suits modern and transitional homes. Freeform curves suit traditional and Hill Country architecture. We start every design conversation by reading the house first.

Let's find the design language that belongs in your backyard — schedule a design consultation.👇
