Texas summer is here!

Your outdoor A/C unit is the heart of your cooling system. If it’s packed with dirt, cottonwood, grass, or leaves, it has to work much harder to cool your home.

I see this dirty of a unit all too often!

One of the most common things I hear is:

“Why did my compressor fail? They just don’t make them like they used to.”

Sometimes that’s true… but many compressor failures could have been prevented with routine maintenance.

Take a walk outside and look at your outdoor unit.

If it’s just a little dirty, turn the system OFF and rinse the coil from the inside out (or from the outside if you can’t access the inside) using nothing more than a regular water hose. No pressure washer!

If it looks like this… it’s probably time to call a professional before it starts costing you money.

A clean condenser runs cooler, uses less electricity, and puts less strain on the compressor— one of the most expensive parts of your system.

WOW!!!
Today, Lone Star HVAC reached a milestone that means a lot to me: 100 five-star Google reviews.

When I started Lone Star HVAC at the end of March 2025, I had no idea what the future would hold. I simply wanted to build a company that treated people honestly, did quality work, and served customers the right way.

Just 17 months later, we’ve reached 100 five-star reviews.

To some, that may just be a number. To me, it’s 100 customers who trusted us with their homes and businesses, and 100 customers who felt we earned their recommendation.

First and foremost, I want to thank God. None of this would be possible without His blessing, guidance, and provision. There have been many long days, difficult decisions, and moments of uncertainty, and He has been faithful through all of it.

I want to thank my wife for supporting me through the long hours, late-night phone calls, weekend service calls, and everything that comes with building a business from the ground up. Lone Star HVAC would not be where it is today without her support and sacrifice.

I also want to thank my team. Nathan and Julia have embraced the standards and values that Lone Star HVAC was built on, and they play a huge role in serving our customers every day.

Most importantly, I want to thank our customers. Thank you for trusting us. Thank you for calling us when your air conditioner stops working on the hottest day of the year. Thank you for allowing us into your homes and businesses. Thank you for your reviews, your encouragement, and your referrals.

Many of our new customers come from recommendations made by friends, family members, neighbors, churches, and local businesses. That kind of trust cannot be bought, and it means more to me than I can put into words.

Introducing the Lone Star HVAC Team!

Nathan Graham recently joined us as a technician. Nathan has been in the HVAC industry for five years. He started out in installations and worked his way into a service technician role, gaining experience across multiple HVAC brands and earning several training certifications along the way. He brings strong technical knowledge, a solid work ethic, and he holds Lone Star HVAC’s standards well — honest work, clear communication, and doing the job right the first time.

Many of you have already met Julia Morris, my sister. She joined me last August as a helper and has been a steady part of the growth behind the scenes. Her long-term role with Lone Star HVAC will be Office Manager. Julia keeps things organized, communicates well with customers, and holds our company standards just as firmly as anyone on the team.

February has already been unusually warm, and I have a feeling we’re in for a hot summer. As we continue to grow, one thing will not change: we’re committed to serving both homes and businesses with professionalism, honesty, and pride in our work.
