New custom luxury pool project underway in Preston Hollow, Dallas.

This may be a compact pool, but the structure is serious: 12-inch engineered walls, double-mat rebar, and structural piers designed to stabilize the pool shell for North Texas soil conditions.

COR Design builds custom pools and luxury outdoor living spaces throughout Preston Hollow, Highland Park, University Park, Southlake, Westlake, and select communities across Dallas–Fort Worth.

Follow this Preston Hollow pool build from the initial site work through excavation, steel, gunite, and the finished reveal.

Looking for a custom pool builder in Dallas–Fort Worth? A luxury pool is built right long before excavation begins.

Before COR Design starts a modern custom pool design, we use precision laser-level measurements to document the yard’s slope, site elevations, drainage, construction access and finished pool height.

Those readings help us create an accurate proposal and anticipate critical construction details before work begins—especially for raised spas, infinity edges, tanning ledges, retaining walls and integrated outdoor living spaces.

Every property is different. Your pool should never feel copied and pasted.

COR Design designs and builds high-end custom gunite pools and complete outdoor living spaces throughout Dallas–Fort Worth, including Southlake, Westlake, Colleyville, Flower Mound, Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Prosper and Aledo.

Most pools look beautiful on the surface.

What you DON’T see is what holds them up.

At COR Design, we engineer and install deep concrete piers designed for the soil conditions of each project. When you’re building a luxury pool, outdoor kitchen, retaining wall, or complete backyard resort, the foundation matters.

Our projects are designed with engineering, deep concrete piers, reinforced steel, and structural planning—not shortcuts.

Because a beautiful pool is only as good as the structure beneath it.
