The Anoka-Hennepin School District is one of Minnesota’s largest public school systems, serving tens of thousands of students across dozens of elementary, middle, and high schools within multiple suburban communities north of Minneapolis and St. Paul. The district was formed in the mid-20th century through the consolidation of many small rural schools to better serve the growing population, and today it continues to grow and evolve.
