Got Texas land on the 2027 plan?

Buying the land is one thing. Seeing a building sitting on it is when that vision starts feeling a little more real.

This one pretty much says it all: buy the land and build on it. 🐺

šŸ’¬ If you had the property ready today, what would you build on it?

Your insulation doesn’t stop at the walls and roof.

Overhead doors take up a lot of space on a metal building, so whether they’re insulated matters too.

That’s why this client chose R-10 insulated overhead doors to help keep the building more comfortable through the Texas heat and colder months.

šŸ’¬ If you were insulating your shop, would you upgrade the overhead doors too?

A workshop by day, a family hangout by the pool.

This client knew he wanted his building to be more than a place to store things. He designed the space around his hobbies, his family, and the way he enjoys his time at home.

The 6/12 roof pitch gives the building some added character, while the cedar encasements and glass overhead door bring in details that make it feel personal.

The best part? The building sits right next to the pool, giving him a workshop and hangout space with a pretty great view.

Two overhead doors… so why bother adding a walk-in door too?

On this building, both overhead doors are automatic. That’s convenient, but those doors still rely on their openers.

The walk-in steel door gives you a separate entry point, so getting in and out of the building doesn’t always depend on opening one of the big doors.

šŸ’¬ Would a walk-in door be a must-have on your building?

A $30K building sounds one way on paper… but what does that space actually look like?

For this one, we used the layout to test a 28'Ɨ30'Ɨ10' tubular building with the kind of stuff you’d realistically want inside.

Vehicles, equipment, and room to actually use the space all start to make a lot more sense once you see it laid out.

šŸ’¬ Would your space be more garage, storage, or hangout?

This one has that AG-style look from the first glance.

What really gives this building its look is the way the roofline steps down from the taller center section into the lower sides.

Then you’ve got multiple ways into the building, all wrapped up in that red-and-white finish.

šŸ’¬ If this was your building, what would you use the space for?

10/09/2026

You’ve heard ā€œAG buildingā€ā€¦ but what does that actually mean?

It’s a term that gets thrown around a lot with metal buildings, so we wanted to show you what that kind of setup looks like instead of just talking about it.

Take a look and see what makes this one AG style.

šŸ’¬ What would you use an AG-style building for?

Here’s one way to make the most of your metal building space.

If extra space is part of the goal, there may be another way to work it into the building instead of changing the entire setup.
This is exactly why we like talking through how the space will actually be used before everything gets finalized.

šŸ’¬ What’s usually fighting for the most room in your shop: vehicles, tools, or storage?

A property setup doesn’t come together all at once.

In this short, we’re walking through three steps that go into getting the setup in place.

Simple breakdown, but definitely worth knowing if this kind of property is part of the plan.

šŸ’¬ What part of a property setup would you want us to talk about more?

This garage was planned to look like it was always meant to be part of the property.

Our client wanted a separate garage and workshop space that would complement the house, including matching brick and stone details. The enclosed lean-to was also designed to be a future man cave

There’s a lot of detail packed into this project, from the 6/12 roof pitch and one-foot overhang to the black and white spray foam, stone and brick wainscot, and black overhead doors.

It’s a good example of how a metal building can be designed around an existing home instead of looking like a separate structure dropped onto the property.

Have you ever considered a separate garage or workshop for your property? What would you want yours to include?
