Most traditional home builders have a traditional style or design they like to implement. On the other hand, a true craftsman – such as distinguished contractor Matt Adams – relishes the challenge of creating a home from the ground up or breathing new life into an existing home that reflects the character and persona of its owner. One sign of a true craftsman is the depth of tools that he brings to the project. With family construction dating back to his great grandfather, B.B. Adams, in the late 1800s, Matt owns – and still uses – molding knives from his grandfather in making samples of molding options for his clients. A true artisan understands his challenge is how to reflect their persona within that home and to deliver a masterpiece that brings joy and fulfillment long after the move-in date. He also draws inspiration from the neighborhood to create a home that is distinctive while also complementing the surrounding homes. Matt cares as much about future resale value of the home as he does for working with the architect and future homeowners to conceive and deliver comfort, the appropriate degree of elegance and practicality. When considering a home builder, Matt stands out with a quality resume and a proven team that works well together to meet and beat promised deadlines.
