DINGER EXCAVATION IS HIRING – FORT WORTH, TX
Dinger Excavation is looking to add a few motivated people to our team. We are based in Fort Worth, TX, with most of our work located within 2 hours of the DFW Metroplex.
We are currently hiring for the following positions:
1. GENERAL HAND / ENTRY-LEVEL CONSTRUCTION
This is an entry-level position with an opportunity to learn the dirt-work business and move into a heavy equipment operator position.
Responsibilities include:
* Keeping track of trucking tickets and loads
* Fueling and greasing equipment
* Jobsite cleanup and general jobsite support
* Operating a roller and water truck
* Basic skid steer operation
* Helping operators and foremen as needed
* Learning how a dirt-work jobsite operates
Some skid steer or construction experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
There is plenty of opportunity to move up for someone who shows up, works hard, takes care of equipment, and wants to learn.
2. FULL-TIME HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
We are looking for an experienced heavy equipment operator who can step onto a jobsite and be productive.
Must be proficient operating:
* Excavator
* Dozer
* Skid steer
Experience we’re looking for:
* Strong understanding of excavation and sitework
* Ability to read and understand civil plans
* Understanding of grades, elevations, drainage, and jobsite sequencing
* Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
* GPS/machine control experience is a plus, but not required
* Takes pride in equipment and keeps machines clean and maintained
