Our friends at the Kokomo Family YMCA are featured in the new issue of Community Rec Magazine!

Take a tour of the 83,000-square-foot facility, from the pools and indoor track to the wellness center, gymnasium, meeting spaces, and more.

This was a true community effort—and we’re happy to see the Kokomo Y getting some well-deserved time in the spotlight.

Congrats, friends!

Tour the Kokomo Family YMCA and see a transformation from a traditional gym-like facility into a true community health and wellness hub.

Sneak peek inside the new Allen County Jail 👀

Color might seem like a small detail, but in a correctional environment, it can have a big impact. We’re using calming palettes throughout the facility—from housing to the medical and mental health units—to help reduce tension and create a more balanced setting.

Every design choice has a job to do. Here, color helps support wellbeing, safety, and the people who use the facility every day. Our clinical psychologist is helping guide these decisions, bringing an important perspective to how the environment can support both those in custody and the staff who work here.

Sometimes, a little paint 🎨 goes a long way.

One of our favorite nights of the year 🎤.

Fort Wayne Sings brings together some seriously talented voices, good people, and a great cause, all in support of the YMCA Youth Service Bureau.

We were back this year as a table sponsor, cheering on the performers, catching up with friends, and supporting the work YSB does for kids and families in our community.

Good music. Good people. Good cause.

Just another way of enriching communities.

Last weekend gave us a couple good reasons to get out and show up for our community.

Our team joined RMHC of Northeast Indiana for the annual Rhinestone Rodeo at Parkview Mirro Center—a night of cowboy boots, good food, and even better fundraising for families in need.

Then we headed downtown for DSANI’s annual Buddy Walk, celebrating acceptance, awareness, and the accomplishments of people with Down syndrome while supporting the programs and advocacy that make a difference all year long.

Two events, two great organizations, and plenty of good people working toward enriching our community.

An evening of hope. ❤️

Our Elevatus team was honored to attend the annual Tribute Dinner for Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana as a sponsor and to support our own Kourtney Teegardin, who serves on the organization’s Board.

Cancer Services provides critical support to people and families navigating the emotional, physical and financial challenges of cancer. Their work has touched many members of our staff and their families.

This year, we also honored Senior Architectural Designer Dave Burwell as our Tribute. Dave courageously battled an aggressive form of lymphoma over the past year, never losing his good nature and spirit.

And we had something pretty special to celebrate: Dave’s recent scans are clear. 🎉

What a night of celebrating Dave, supporting Kourtney, and supporting an organization that means so much to our community.

Great design starts with listening.

Today, we welcomed Luke Labas from The League for the Blind and Disabled for a Lunch & Learn on Universal Design. Drawing from his experience as a wheelchair user and disability advocate, Luke shared practical insights on how design decisions, from wayfinding and lighting to restroom layouts and door hardware, shape how people experience a space.

Thank you, Luke, for sharing your perspective and reminding us that thoughtful design begins by understanding the people we serve.

We kicked off the long Labor Day weekend with an ice cream 🍨 social at the office, complete with all the essentials: sprinkles, chocolate syrup, and even pup cups for our four-legged crew.

A pretty sweet way to send summer out.

Special thanks to Meijer for keeping the ice cream flowing!

Built for the work 💪 .

West Noble High School’s new weight room gives student-athletes a space designed around how they train today — and where the program is headed next.

Strength and conditioning equipment, synthetic turf for speed and agility work, a coaches office, and a dedicated training room come together in a facility built for performance, safety, and connection.

It’s a significant upgrade for West Noble athletics and a space that gives student-athletes room to get stronger, work harder, and keep raising the bar.

Designed to do more ⬆️ .
