Leslie's roots here run deep, she started watering plants for Bruce at age 13. Left for college for journalism, returned in 1992 & hasn't left since. She's a face everyone knows well!

“Maintenance-free landscaping” doesn’t exist. And anyone who tells you it does is setting you up to be disappointed.

Every landscape is a living system. Plants grow, soil shifts, weather changes, seasons turn. It’s the whole point of having a landscape instead of a photograph of one.

What does exist is low-maintenance design. The right plants for your site, in the right place, installed correctly, with a realistic care plan behind it. That takes expertise up front, not a marketing promise.

So if someone tells you “set it and forget it,” ask them what happens in month seven or even in one year.

We’d rather build something that thrives for years than sell you a phrase that sounds good for a season.
